The
Association for Environmental Education
(Central Coast), (AEE(CC)), is hosting the 26th NSW Environmental Educators
Conference from the
29th - 30th October 2004 at Mt Penang Parklands, Kariong NSW.
The theme for this year's conference is
"Turning the Tide?" and it will be looking at:
- Acknowledging the successes achieved and the challenges of our changing
times for Environmental Educators,
- Providing hands-on, practical examples of current environmental education
practices by sharing the experiences of other environmental educators
in an open and honest environment.
The Conference
is a predominantly hands-on event.
It consists of presenters giving their ideas for improvement and innovation
in the delivery of Environmental Education in both schools and the community
(including business and industry).
This Conference aims to provide an entertaining mix of speakers, papers,
workshops, fieldtrips and displays, which will equip participants with
a wide range of ideas and skills.
Above all this, there is the opportunity for educators and practitioners
to share their thoughts and inspirations in the various tea and lunch
breaks, excursions and conversations into the late hours.
